Barbara Taylor & Maureen Lukie of Toronto Irish Players:
TIP Production of Outside Mullingar was selected as best show at the Actco Gala on Saturday 8th April. This production represented Actco and TIP at the Theatre Ontario festival in Ottawa from May 19th - May 21st.

From the author of Doubt and Moonstruck comes a romantic comedy set in rural Ireland. Anthony and Rosemary are lovelorn farmers who haven’t got a clue when it comes to love. These hopeless singletons will need to overcome a bitter land feud, familial rivalries and their own romantic fears to find happiness. Full of dark humor and poetic prose, John Patrick Shanley’s tenderhearted portrait reminds us it’s never too late to take a chance on love.

Outside Mullingar won for best production, director, set design, visual achievement. Elaine O'Neal and Chris Irving were both nominated for lead performance with Chris taking the award. Barbara Taylor and Dermot Walsh were both nominated for supporting performances with Barbara taking the award. We also received an award from theatre tech for our impressive move in/strike team and an award for most memorable moment.
