Vancouver CeltFest - Paul Caldwell
Paul Caldwell - Vancouver CeltFest CelticFest Vancouver returns March 13–15, celebrating Irish Heritage Month and 22 years of Celtic music, dance, and culture in the heart of Vancouver. Western Canada’s largest annual Celtic festival brings three days of live performances, community celebrations, and St. Patrick’s Day spirit to multiple venues across the city, culminating in a free, all-ages Family Day Festival in downtown Vancouver. Festivities kick off Friday night with a high-energy Ceilidh (Irish Dance) featuring the Blackthorn Band and continue throughout the weekend with ticketed concerts and performances, including WHAT’S THE CRAIC? A Night of Irish Devilry and a headline show at the Hollywood Theatre. Sunday’s free Family Day Festival offers live music, traditional Irish dance, a Celtic marketplace, food trucks, sports demonstrations, Irish Wolfhounds, face painting, bouncy castles, and more. Friday, March 13 – Sunday, March 15, 2026 CelticFest Vancouver brings Western Canada’s largest annual Celtic festival to Vancouver, annually every March. The registered non-profit society formed in 2004 and celebrates its 21st year in 2025. Every year CelticFest brings the local community together in a week-long festival celebration of Celtic culture culminating in a free, all-ages, outdoor, weekend festival in downtown Vancouver. Vancouver’s annual celebration of Celtic culture returns March 7-17th 2025 with our 21st festival, but this year will be different. After hugely successful festivals for the last three years in downtown Vancouver, CelticFest Vancouver, a not-for-profit organization, can no longer fund its growth.
